The death toll in Kerala from Covid-19 cases increased to 27.765 after the inclusion of a backlog of 563 Covid-19 deaths. Meanwhile India registered 16,326 fresh Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours, while Kerala alone recorded a total of 93, 61 new infections on Saturday.
The Kerala Health Department said: Apart from 99 deaths due to Covid-19 in the past 24 hours as Kerala added 249 deaths which were reported until 14th June but not recorded due to lack of adequate documentation. Another 172 deaths were added were added to the back as per the guidelines of Central Government.
