A drone launched from Lebanon struck a building in Caesarea, the location of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s private residence. The Israeli army reported that three drones were fired at Israel from Lebanese territory, with one successfully hitting a structure in Caesarea. Fortunately, initial reports indicate that there were no injuries.
The drone attacks began early in the morning, targeting Tiberias and surrounding areas. The military claimed to have intercepted two drones, with debris from the intercepts falling into the Sea of Galilee. Alarm sirens were activated in various parts of Israel, including the Emek Hefer region, Tel Aviv, and areas north of the city.
The incident unfolded shortly after sirens sounded in the Haifa Bay area, signaling potential drone infiltration. Earlier, alarms were triggered in the Emek Hefer region due to what the military later identified as a false alarm related to an enemy aircraft.
The situation remains under close observation as military and security forces assess the implications of the drone attacks.
