The All Tripura Hotel and Restaurant Owners’ Association has decided to ban Bangladeshi tourists and visitors from staying at hotels or dining at restaurants in the state. The announcement was made following a meeting held at Hotel Shonartori on Monday, according to a press release from the association.
The decision comes in response to the recent attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh. The association stated that hotel and restaurant owners in Tripura will no longer entertain Bangladeshi guests as a form of protest against the violence.
