A major milestone was celebrated at the temporary hospital in the Maha Kumbh Mela area as doctors successfully delivered a baby boy, bringing immense joy to the community.
Under the leadership of Dr. Gaurav Dubey, Nodal Medical Officer of the Maha Kumbh Mela, a dedicated team of three doctors conducted the delivery on Sunday. Dr. Dubey confirmed the news, stating, “This marks the first successful delivery at the Central Hospital in Maha Kumbh Nagar.”
The mother, 20-year-old Sonam, gave birth to a healthy baby boy weighing 2.4 kilograms. The delivery was expertly managed by Dr. Dubey’s team, which included Dr. Nupur and Dr. Vartika.
Both mother and child are reported to be in good health. Dr. Dubey expressed his gratitude to the medical team for their hard work and efficiency, saying, “This success highlights the preparedness of the healthcare system in the Maha Kumbh Mela area.”
For the first time, the Central Hospital in the temporary Mela setup is offering delivery services, complete with a fully equipped labor room to assist expecting mothers. The successful delivery marks a significant achievement for the healthcare services provided at the event.
