A small plane crashed into a commercial building in California on Thursday, resulting in the deaths of two people and leaving 18 others injured. The crash occurred near Fullerton Municipal Airport, located about 40 kilometers southeast of Los Angeles, around midday.
The exact cause of the crash is still under investigation. Emergency responders rushed to the scene, where 10 individuals were admitted to the hospital, while eight others were treated on-site. However, it remains unclear whether the victims were passengers on the plane or employees inside the building at the time of the crash.
Authorities have not yet confirmed the number of people aboard the aircraft or if the two fatalities were on board. In a precautionary measure, approximately 300 people were evacuated from the building to ensure their safety.
The investigation into the incident continues as officials work to determine the cause and further details surrounding this devastating crash.
