Assam Police arrested Lakhi Gogoi (P.A of a Cabinet Minister in Assam) for allegedly raping his ex-girlfriend. The arrested Lakhi Gogoi raped his ex-girlfriend in the pretext of marriage and was arrested at Japorigog area of Guwahati.
The criminal case registered with case no 3821/21 under section 376,417 of the Indian Penal Code. More details are awaited at this moment and the case is under further investigation by the Dispur Police.
