It has been over 48 hours since five-year-old Aryan fell into a 150-feet-deep borewell in Dausa, Rajasthan, and rescuers are working tirelessly to pull him out safely. The rescue operation, which involves digging a parallel borewell to reach the trapped child, faces numerous challenges, but authorities are determined to succeed.
Challenges in the Rescue Operation
The operation is being complicated by several factors, including the high water level in the area, which is around 160 feet. Additionally, the underground steam is making it difficult to capture the child’s movements on camera. There are also safety concerns for the rescue team working in such precarious conditions.
To assist in the operation, an XCMG 180 Piling Rig machine has been brought in to dig a 150-foot tunnel near the borewell. Excavation is also being carried out using a JCB, as rescuers work to reach the boy.
Ongoing Rescue Efforts
The Dausa District Magistrate confirmed that the child’s condition is stable, with oxygen being supplied to him through a pipe. The operation is being closely monitored by local police, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), and a State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) team. The SDRF team has also inserted a camera into the borewell to observe Aryan’s movements and ensure his safety.
As time passes, the community’s hope remains high, with every effort being made to bring Aryan to safety. The rescue team is working around the clock to overcome the challenges and reunite the child with his family.
