Satya Ranjan Bora (controversial activist) recently commented on the successful transplantation of Pig’s kidney into the human body and compared it with organ transplantation on Lord Ganesha long time ago. Bora also reiterated that heart surgeon Dr. Dhaniram Baruah successfully transplanted a pig’s heart to a human being in 1991.
Bora went ahead and criticised people who opposed Dr. Dhaniram Baruah ,”We did not give due respect to Dr. Dhaniram Baruah. Likewise, one day, Sri Sri Sankardeva was disrespected. Dr. Bhupen Hazarika was disrespected.”
He also added that we should respect the Sanatan culture and look into Mahabharata and Sankardeva. Satya Ranjan Bora also mentioned that the Assamese Hindu people let the people from other religion propagate their religion rather than promoting their own.
