Actress Tamannaah Bhatia was recently questioned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with a money laundering investigation related to the ‘HPZ Token’ app. The investigation revealed that the app allegedly deceived investors by promising lucrative returns through Bitcoin mining.
Bhatia’s questioning, conducted under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), lasted for over six hours at the ED’s office in Guwahati. Although her role is currently linked to a celebrity appearance at an event connected to the app, no charges have been officially filed against her.
