In a horrific incident, a 25-year-old butcher was arrested in Jharkhand’s Khunti district for murdering his live-in partner and chopping her body into 50 pieces following a disagreement about his marriage to another lady. The incident, which occurred roughly two weeks ago, was discovered on November 24 when a stray dog was spotted with human remains in a forested location.
The accused has been identified as Naresh Bhengra and the victim, Gangi Kumari, 24. They were residents of Jordag village but lived and worked in Tamil Nadu.
According to police investigations, Bhengra, who was in a live-in relationship with the victim, married another person without her knowledge. The accused allegedly murdered the woman roughly two weeks ago, and authorities learned about the crime on November 24 when a dog discovered human body parts strewn in a forest area near Jordag Village.
According to the police, Bhengra and the victim had been in a relationship for the past two years and lived in Tamil Nadu. Later this year, the man returned to Jharkhand and married another woman without telling his live-in girlfriend.
After the body parts were recovered, a bag filled with the victim’s belongings were found, including her Aadhar card. The woman’s mother identified them as her daughter’s belongings.
