A shocking incident has unfolded in Hardoi district, Uttar Pradesh, where a 36-year-old woman, Rajeshwari, reportedly abandoned her husband and six children to elope with a beggar. Her husband, Raju Kumar, 45, has lodged a complaint with the police, accusing a 45-year-old beggar named Nanhe Pandit of abducting his wife.
Raju, a resident of the Harpalpur area, revealed in his FIR that Nanhe Pandit frequently visited their neighborhood asking for alms. Over time, Rajeshwari and Pandit developed a friendship, often communicating with each other, including over the phone, according to Raju’s statement.
On January 3, Rajeshwari told her eldest daughter, Khushboo, that she was heading to the market to buy clothes and vegetables. However, she never returned. Despite efforts to search for her, Raju was unable to locate his wife.
In his complaint, Raju mentioned that Rajeshwari had taken the money he had earned from selling a buffalo, raising his suspicion that Pandit may have played a role in her disappearance.
The Harpalpur police have launched a search for Nanhe Pandit, who is now a key figure in the investigation. The case has left the local community stunned as authorities work to uncover the details of this troubling incident.
