In a tragic road accidentthat occurred on Sunday in Assam, a four-wheeler plunged into the Seesa River beneath a bridge in the Lahowal area of Dibrugarh at midnight.
According to reports,four people were rescued and rushed to Assam Medical College and Hospital for urgent treatment.
Despite the efforts to save them, one individual, later identified as Ishan Gogoi, was found trapped inside the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident took place as the family was returning from a wedding at Tamuli Khat in Tengakhat.
Police believe that poor visibility on the road due to dense fog may have contributed significantly to the collision.
The Lahowal and Ghoramara police have initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident. The tragic incident has left the community in shock as authorities work to uncover the details surrounding the crash.
